VACANCY FOR CLERK/RFO TO FLAMBOROUGH PARISH COUNCIL

 

Flamborough Parish Council invites applications for the position of Parish Clerk.
This is a part-time post of 16 hours per week and the successful applicant will be required to work from home and attend council meetings in Flamborough.
Duties will include managing both the council’s administration, and allotments, servicing council meetings, fulfilling the statutory role of Responsible Financial Officer, undertaking research, advising councillors and carrying out such other duties as are appropriate to the role of Parish Clerk.
The post is subject to a three-month probationary period and the successful applicant will be expected to hold the Introduction in Local Council Administration (ILCA) or be willing to work towards the qualification.
Salary: £26470 -£28221 pro rata

Approved List of Contractors

The Parish Council regularly needs work undertaking within the Parish and the Council wishes to engage more with local contractors.  The Parish Council is looking for all types of Contractors to join an Approved List.  Contractors on the List will be sent details and asked to price for work.  To join the list Contractors must have public liability insurance and be able to give details of previous work by way of references, CV, training certificates, photos of work undertaken or recommendations.  Health and Safety regulations must be adhered to.
